Do_Today is a task app designed to keep your information under your control. It does not require an account with us, show ads, or use analytics or tracking.

Information you put in the app

Do_Today stores the tasks you create, including titles, descriptions, notes, dates, photos, files, and voice memos, on your device. Theme preferences and the information needed to show tasks on your Apple Watch and widgets are also stored on your devices. We do not run a server that receives or reads this content.

iCloud backup

If iCloud Drive is available, Do_Today can back up your tasks and attachments to a private app folder in your Apple iCloud account. You can also start a backup or restore one from the app's Settings. Apple operates iCloud under its own privacy terms. We do not have access to your iCloud backup.

Camera, photos, files, and microphone

The app accesses your camera, selected photos, files, or microphone only when you choose to attach or record something. Those items become part of the task you select and may be included in your iCloud backup. You can manage camera, photo, and microphone permissions in your device settings.

Apple Watch and widgets

Task titles and status can be shown on your paired Apple Watch and in widgets you add to your Home Screen or Lock Screen. Anyone who can see those screens may see the information displayed there. You can remove a widget at any time.

Sharing and payments

We do not sell or share your task content for advertising. Purchases of the app are handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment card details.

Deleting your data

Deleting a task in Do_Today removes it and its attachments from the app's local storage. A later iCloud backup updates the backup to reflect your current task list. Removing the app deletes its local data from that device; data previously backed up to iCloud may remain in your Apple account until you remove it using Apple's iCloud storage controls.
